About

Scan1.jpg

I am an interdisciplinary artist working in drawing, painting, collage, video and installation. My work usually involves found and everyday materials. A concept normally arrives through my manipulation of the material, whether it be through distorting, destroying, or repurposing the materials. In the series untitled (2008-2017), I used materials that I gathered through the mundane activities of everyday life, such as handwritten notes and napkins form restaurants that I’ve eaten at. I took these items and ripped them up and collaged them together, as a reflection of the ephemerality of memory. Memories become obscure over time due to the fact that they often collide with one another.
